I am often asked about “unique” taste in music. Usually, I find it rather amusing. The way I see it, some people (including myself) like vanilla over chocolate. In the same way, some people also have come to resent what has become of popular music since the 1990’s and therefore are constantly looking elsewhere for their musical fixes (I am also one of those). I think the most surprising thing, though, is that I don’t find my music of choice so much as it finds me.
